Coronavirus: 512 new cases and 3 new death reported in Orange County on Nov. 8 – OCRegister

The Orange County Health Care Agency provides a daily update of testing results, deaths and other related metrics used to monitor the impact and spread of the coronavirus.

Here is a snapshot of the information provided Sunday, Nov. 8, on its website.

New cases reported: 512

Cumulative cases: 62,255

  • 2,367 were skilled nursing facility residents
  • 575 were inmates in county jails
  • 200 were homeless people

New deaths reported: 3

Cumulative deaths: 1,509

  • 695 were residents of skilled nursing or assisted living facilities
  • 5 were homeless people

Estimated recovered: 54,847

Hospitalizations: 201

Patients in ICUs: 72

New tests conducted: 15,061

Cumulative tests: 1,183,584
