TULSA, Okla. –
A dispatcher for Tulsa Police and Tulsa Fire has died of COVID-19 complications.
TPD shared a photo of dispatcher Joey Phillips on its Facebook page. The department said he died Tuesday night.
Phillips started his career with the police department in 1997. TPD said he had a larger-than-life personality and was so much fun to work with.
Family said he was 54 years old and is survived by his son, Bryce.
